Eco Recycling completed the “Evaluation of the engineering of an A2A process for the hydrometallurgical treatment of NMC electrode powder and the execution of an experimental campaign on Eco Recycling’s pilot units.” After evaluating the engineering of the process developed by the client, Eco Recycling reassembled its pilot units to implement the process. It developed and executed a test protocol that allowed for the quantification of the material and energy balances. These balances were used to compare the proposed process with an Eco Recycling process focused on the recovery of cathode material.
