LiBat is a project co-financed by EU commission within the Life programme (LIFE16 ENV/IT/000389). The project is aimed at the recycling of primary Li batteries and includes the demonstration of an innovative process on pilot scale. The showed procedure regards the planned transferability activities performed in the Chemistry Department of Sapienza University concerning Li-ion batteries recycling. Starting from end of life Li-ion batteries, graphite and a new NMC cathode were obtained and used in a new device. http://www.lifelibat.eu/
